What began as a volunteer bucket brigade has grown into a professional fire department serving the Greenfield community for more than a century and a quarter. Our founders understood what we still believe today: that a safe community is a thriving community.
Today, our department comprises dedicated career and volunteer firefighters who train relentlessly so that when emergencies strike—day or night, weekday or weekend—we are ready. We respond not just as first responders, but as neighbors.
We face danger so others don't have to.
We earn trust through honest, transparent service.
We are part of the community we serve.
